A 4d TQFT based on triangulations

I will explain a construction of a 4d TQFT based on triangulations, which, in particular, to each complex root of unity associates a complex valued quantity to closed compact oriented 4-manifolds invariant under all (oriented) Pachner moves. The quantity is multiplicative with respect to the connected sum and is unitary in the sense that it is complex conjugated under the change of orientation. The talk is based on the paper arXiv:1405.5763.
