1-year (renewable) post doc position in Mathematical Physics

The Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Aarhus University, invites applications for a 1-year (renewable) post doc position in Mathematical Physics.

The position is available from 1 August, 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Applicants should already have, or expect to be awarded imminently, a PhD in Mathematics or Physics or a related research area, preferably with a specialization in an area of Mathematical Physics or Spectral Theory.

The Department of Mathematics currently employs 19 permanent scientific staff members in the traditional pure mathematical disciplines, Algebra, Analysis, Geometry and Topology, as well as 13 people in Stochastics and 4 people in the Centre for Science Studies.

Place of Work and area of Employment

Place of employment is Aarhus University, and place of work is Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Ny Munkegade 118, DK-8000 Aarhus C, Denmark.

Salary range

Salary depends on seniority as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Confederation of Professional Associations.
