The "Graph blow-up" is an object of differential geometry that we have introduced with B. Ammann and V. Nistor. Our main motivation was to study the N-body problem HOWEVER the graph blow-up can be studied as mathematical objects on itself. In this talk, I will describe on the construction of the graph blow-up which will give me the opportunity to present notions of differential geometries: manifolds (with corners) and the blow-up of these manifolds with respect to some "good" submanifolds. In particular, I will give a new proof of the commutativity of the blow-up. I will finish with a few words on how the graph blow-up is connected to the N-body problem and applications to obtain concrete results.
The talk will be given on Zoom. Please, contact the organizers for more information.
