In this talk, I will introduce Schottky surfaces and explain what resonances are. I will then outline how to compute them numerically and discuss high-frequency eigenfunctions. In this context, two kinds of phase space distributions appear: Patterson–Sullivan distributions, which are invariant under the geodesic flow, and Wigner distributions, which come from quantum chaos. We will see how these two distributions are related in an interesting asymptotic way.
