A Kähler metric on a Kähler manifold M is projectively induced if there exists a (local) holomorphic and isometric immersion of M into the complex projective space endowed with its Fubini-Study metric. In this talk we give an overview of the problem of classifying Ricci-flat and scalar flat projectively induced Kähler metrics.
