The Howland-Kato Commutator Problem

The problem: Find all real, bounded, measurable functions f and g such that the commutator i[f(P),g(Q)] is a non-negative operator. Kato had a conjecture which is so far unproven. I will discuss what has been published on the subject and some of the latest results.
