Proving bounds for Fourier coefficients of Siegel modular is a classical challenge in analytic number theory. For degree two forms the current best bound is due to Kohnen and already 30 years old. In this talk we will discuss how an old trick of Iwaniec can be used to produce new bounds in certain ranges.
