In this talk I will discuss a linearized version of the monotonicity method for shape reconstruction using time harmonic elastic waves.
The formulation of a linearized version is usually motivated by the fact that it gives an efficient version of the method, drastically reducing computation time. In the elastic case, we are interestingly, able to formulate a linearized method that can be used to obtain additional information on the material parameters, and is able to partially separate and identify the supports of the Lamé parameters.
