I will discuss some recent advances on inverse problems for certain nonlinear PDEs. This area has seen a rise in popularity in recent years, following the discovery of a powerful technique which takes advantage of real-analytic nonlinearities. I will demonstrate some of the advantages of this technique. Then I will discuss how to deal with lower regularity nonlinearities, partly based on my own work with Janne Nurminen and Mikko Salo.
